A Moment in Arkansas Black History: Ronnie Williams

Raised in Menifee, and a graduate of Hendrix College, Ronnie served at the University of Central Arkansas for more than 30 years and was the first African American to serve at the executive level. Putting students first has always been his mission and, in his tenure at UCA, Williams developed and implemented diversity programs to improve student retention, recruitment and graduation rates.
