That is how it is done.
Hot Springs, Arkansas, host of the Arkansas high school state volleyball championships.
Welcome.
Inside bank Ozk arena.
Championship match number four of the day.
It's the three AA title between the Paris Eagles and the Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs.
Inside the arena, Bobby Swofford alongside my boy JB Brazil.
Jamie, this one should be pretty competitive.
Yeah, we think so.
Paris has been here a lot.
New coach, first year coach, Coach Fulmer.
He's excited about this opportunity to try to bring home his first state title as a head coach.
GHC they're looking to make some noise here in their first ever trip.
Let's see how these two teams got here, starting with the visiting Paris Eagles.
Again, they're no stranger to playing for the championship.
They came from the bottom half of the right side of the bracket.
They got a first round by 26 and five in the regular season.
Undefeated in the conference championship.
And then they took down Harding Academy in four sets.
And then a quick work of Episcopal Collegiate in the semifinals.
A30 sweep there.
And Paris here.
They got to rely on their offense.
Glare.
Zeller's the one to do it, senior.
She's going to be highlighted right here.
Coach talked about her in that semifinal game against Episcopal.
That was a big win for them because their assistant coach had felt it and lost to Episcopal earlier in her career in a big match in the state tournament.
Claire Zeller.
She's been big.
She talked to the huddle in that game.
It was it was huge for her to kind of lift that team.
They felt like they were faltering a little bit.
Coach talked about her being a huge catalyst of this offense.
On the other side of things, Central Arkansas Christian playing well at the right time of the season, 21 and eight on the year.
They finished second in the three and four, but they won their regional and that's why they got a first round bye.
And then they took down Mayflower in four sets in the quarterfinals.
And then they took down a region champion in Harrisburg in four sets as well.
And that sets up the matchup here CAC taking on Paris.
Who should we look out for for Central Arkansas Christian.
It's going to start with the offense setter Addison Bright.
She's the setter.
She's the one that's going to be facilitating offense.
She's seventh in all classifications in aces on the year.
She's going to have to be big on the service line.
But also she's really good at assists.
Top 25 in the state in that category as well.
Brighton's going to have to be big for Cass.
They're going to knock off Paris Central Arkansas Christian in the Championship for the first time in school history.
Paris looking for their sixth title but their first since 2021.
Three a championship just a few moments away.
First serve is coming up.
You're watching the Centennial Bank State Volleyball Championship, presented by Everett Buick.

I am dancing through life.
We get going to store.
Store.
Back inside Bank Oak Arena.
First start coming up in just a couple minutes.
J.B. were some keys to the game starting for the Harris Eagles.
Harris has got a lot of weapons.
That's what they got to do.
Share it to all of those weapons.
Ziegler's going to be the mainstay.
They're they're gonna go for her a lot, but they're gonna have a lot of others as well.
And by doing that, you keep the defense guessing, mix things up.
I think that's going to be the catalyst prepares.
On the flip side of things, the ACC first championship appearance.
What they need to do to be successful today.
Well, they're going to have to make sure they limit unforced errors by generating points at a high level.
They're going to have to create a lot of their offense, and then they're going to have to battle big time on the block there at the line of the net there.
They're going to get a lot of action to do that.
Maddie Brighton's going to start things off on the service line for CAC.
And we are underway in the three title match.
CAC we're in the black and purple Paris we're in the white and blue.
Battle at the net.
Tip there for CAC.
Now Perez going to try to set the offense.
What's the get me over ball chance for the Mustangs to go and swing from the left hand of Kayla Meyer is not there.
Now I going to reset.
Swing from Brunet also dugout on the back row defense the name of the game early on for Paris and the block finally shows up big.
They had to play defensive but Zeller right there gives parents the first lead of the match.
What she didn't do with her offense.
It's defense.
That time got big.
It was a long rally.
Paris sets the tone with the first point.
What this team is built on play defense.
So one nil start things off for the Lady Eagles.
Big swing on the far side for CAC but deflected at the net.
You tell I think long rallies is going to be the name of the game today.
That one again took out on the back row.
Already starting to see some really good defense from both Paris and CAC.
Big swing there.
Can't be handled on the back row.
Paris quickly jumps out to a two.
Nothing lead the kill.
Credit to Zeller.
That was a well-struck ball.
Little high two for Walker.
She was in between.
What do I dig it there?
I kind of try to set it with my hands once you do that, it's a little bit too late.
That ball's already there.
Just two points into this match and you can tell every point's going to be crucial and you're going to have to earn it.
Big swinging again.
Zeller came to play on the biggest stage flexing her muscle.
Take a look right here.
Kind of goes in this middle spot just off the hands.
Great.
Look there from Zeller a pair of kills and a block already for Zeller.
That's why Paris has got a three nothing lead.
That one though.
Can't get it.
Get it across.
Myers with the hitting air four nothing Paris couldn't ask for a better start.
No kidding.
You know generating points is what Paris is doing.
But then it's kind of led to some unforced errors for CAC.
They got to get a grip on things here early.
So four nothing got to stop the bleeding early here.
If you're CAC on the attack that's perfectly done.
Well struck by Kayla myers the lefty the five seven junior boy that was big.
Bright did a nice job setting it outside DeMar.
She's gone a couple of times here.
And look at this down line angle.
Tough stuff.
Good job by Myers Alyssa Jansen going to drop back to five for sophomore to serve for CAC.
Big swing coming right at us.
Diving bodies can't get there.
So Paris quickly puts the tally back on the board.
Boy they got some weapons dealers.
Certainly one of those big ones giving them a 5 to 1 lead.
Now she's going to serve.
But the clock counting down for something in here in the arena.
I'm not really sure what's, but.
Oh, for the horn doesn't go off for 43 seconds.
Another quick attack from Kasey Paris defense position perfectly try for the attack.
That's the first time we've seen Ashton EU.
That attack goes long.
Asking for a touch.
They say no.
Oh, they do get the touch.
They do get the call.
So that one a big momentum swing there for Cassie.
Yeah.
Big kind of tooling.
The block there wanted to go high.
And once you're kind of down coming down on that attack the blockers are already up there.
You want to try to get it off the tip because that was way out.
Great play by Casey to get the call.
Eight seconds away from potential buzzer going on.
At least we will be in the middle of a point.
There it is.
Knew it was coming.
Saw it coming.
But you know we're just no we're going to let the buzzer off for fun.
Let's come here.
Ready for basketball.
We got the basketball promo already coming up mid-March right here at Banco ZK arena.
That's what that was right.
Get you ready for it.
Forget football.
Haha haha.
Oh big swing there.
Can't be dug out.
You can tell Kayla myers is going to be the go to player 373 kills coming into it for the left here.
Hey, great job to stay in System Bright.
A nice set to get it to Myers.
She's going to come off going to set her out there.
So Paris double it up Casey in the early going that's six three now.
Davis Freeman that one a little too much mustard on it.
Back to back points for the Mustangs.
Trying to build a little bit of momentum.
And Casey and Myers is a good serve with the lefty.
You like to have her on the back line.
This is a good rotation for him.
Yes you.
Like that serve goes long though.
So they give the momentum and the point right back at seven for Lady Eagles out in front.
Just didn't get enough topspin on that did Myers kind of sailed a bit.
Easy call for Paris to let it go by.
There's Freeman on serve.
Play at the net.
Paris going to have a free will.
Send a free ball over.
See if CAC can take advantage.
They try to tip perfectly.
Place nobody home.
How about Kayla myers?
Do it with some power that time.
Great.
I think you the volleyball like you to read the defense there and able to dump it over there on the other side.
Nobody home.
Kayla Acheson five seven junior serving now for Casey at seven five.
Lady Eagles out in front.
Dug out nicely on the back row Kendall Walker right there for the CAC defense.
Big swing that one I believe.
Caught the net though.
Yeah I will say that's four hits.
Did not get it across.
So Casey putting together a bit of a mini run here get things going.
Ashton Neely got a big swing to right but just found the net.
Couldn't get it over.
Tip nothing going there.
Casey now sets the offense well.
Block comes up.
Big defense.
We saw it early going to Gerald Rowand Patterson 18.
Going to get credit for that block.
But she had some help Annabelle Perry right beside her.
Look at him right here.
So tight.
But you're right.
Patterson was all over that one for the stuff.
Real quick.
Back to back points there for Paris volleyball.
So much just about runs.
Who can get some momentum?
Who can get a key stop in the key moment serves as a tempo.
Sails long tail.
These teams are a little amped up on the service line.
Got to settle in.
Calm the nerves.
Yeah, and you can tell by those going long, right?
Sometimes if you leave it short, maybe it's not as much nerves, but that was a powerful serve too far.
Getting the walker the libero for CAC now serving.
Free ball now Mustangs with a chance to get the offense another left handed swing.
That one though sails long from Jordan Bales.
What she wants that one back.
You got a free play there Paris was out of system.
Got you in transition an opportunity to get some some good attack right here.
But this one going down this side just too far.
Ten seven Paris out in front.
Free ball.
They're at the net.
They're going to say CAC was into the net.
That's going to be a violation.
Another freebie for Paris I think that was going to be tough either way because Zeller on that overpass had a big powerful swing.
And either way, CAC was really so 11 seven Natalie Parrish with a lead.
Harris quick set right in the middle cannot be handled.
Just the hammer right down the guts.
Lauren Ream says hello.
What coach Filmore talked about Rhames coming on big and Lily the last quarter the last half of the season.
Look at that set up.
When it's there, it's kind of that one one and a half system set right there to Reims.
And boy, she's lethal.
That's an ace.
Central Arkansas Christian going to take a timeout.
Try to calm the nerves.
Stop the run Paris up 13 seven here in set number one inside bank okay.

Is going up in and go.
There is a look at coach Jerry Fulmer, his first season as the head honcho for Paris, but he's no stranger to talking to him before the game.
He's been involved in ten state championship matches and in one form or fashion as a volleyball coach, a lot of it as assistant.
They've had a lot of success in Paris.
Oh no kidding.
He was the assistant hired in 2011.
So you're right.
He's been around that program a long time trying to win his first as a head coach.
West Davis was the head coach for many of those years.
They won handful of titles, five of them to be exact, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 21.
They're looking to get back on top volleyball and their classification west.
Davis, now a Clarksville.
13 eight CAC with the side out.
Now try to get the offense going Brighton back on the service line.
And you mentioned it in the open half.
She's got to be in.
It's going to be important to get the service game going well off her on the line because of the amount of aces that she comes up with.
I think it's pivotal when she serves.
She's going to have a lot of those in the game today to keep promoting her offense.
First ace of the afternoon or early evening, if you want to call it that, for CAC.
I've been in here since about 915.
I have no idea if the sun even exist anymore.
So CAC gets it across now.
Paris chance to set the offense.
And they do exactly that big swing from that left side.
And it's Claire Ziegler again.
But I think that's the offense goes to Zeller goes we've seen that early.
They've gone to her heavy very often to Zeller.
And she's not disappointed very often it's Anabelle Perry now on the service line for Paris.
The left handed swing not there for CAC.
The block coming up.
Get big again for Paris.
Back to Zeller on that side.
Handle on the back row.
Not going to be able to scramble job now a three ball chance for Paris.
Can they take advantage of it.
Quick set right in the middle and quickly put down Lauren Reims again.
Wow.
You see how things have opened up for Zeller early.
She got that attacking run.
What does that do.
It brings the defense away from Zeller.
Goes to Reims in the middle.
The head doubles and Reims punches it through.
That's a big spurt right here for Paris.
They've pushed their lead out to 15 nine.
CAC looking for an answer.
But again it's Paris though.
They're the one with all the answers at this point.
Teams.
Freeman the senior outside hitter puts one down.
Boy getting in on the action is Freeman big time I mean I'm telling you coach horse got options.
Plenty of them.
That's what they're trying to do.
Share the wealth with all your weapons.
Can't CAC has to handle one near the back line.
Service giving the problems to the Mustangs.
The attack here from Burnett.
That one sit back across now will be another free ball here CAC a lot of play at the net after the send it over.
Just a tip they weren't expecting it to come over on two.
And Reims benefits from finding some wide open spaces for those long rallies are where these things run right.
It's just a gut punch for CAC when you go so long, and then just look at dumping it right back in the back there.
CAC tries to return it, but it's not there.
Claire Ziegler again.
Johnny on the spot finds an open hole.
Wow.
What do you do defensively?
You know you've got to figure out a way to get a good first touch.
CAC has not done that over the last 3 or 4 rallies.
First touch right here on the serve receive.
You got to have it.
If you're CAC five straight points now for Paris.
The lead at 18 nine finally put an end to that run this Kayla myers that was big.
That first touch was a lot better.
Brighton had a bump set that though tracked it down.
Got a great place.
But Brighton's good if you can bring it close.
And then Myers terminates.
How different isn't it for a defense.
You don't see many left handed hitters.
Oh yeah.
And see she's got a pair of them out there.
Oh it works out good to you as well.
If you go on the right side it works like an outside hitter for you.
Got a big swing trying to catch the line with that one.
One's wide.
So back to back points now for CAC.
They still trailing 1811.
Now's the time to make a run if you're a mustang fan yeah I think this is it.
You know you got to build some things around.
You get two in a row.
You can't have any unforced errors right now.
If you're a mustang.
Senior again they're on the right side of the block.
Couldn't get in front that one.
Put down.
That's how good Zeller is.
Watch right here.
Just splits it right between them off the tip of Phillips.
Great job by Zeller.
She's that good.
Got JB a new tool and he is thriving.
But what.
What are you talking about.
Yeah tell her I've been begging for a telestrator for about 25 years in my life.
And we finally got you on.
Boy, this is great.
Taking advantage I am.
If you see random squiggles going up in the game, it's me, guys.
He's just playing.
Oh, 1912 the lead for Paris.
That one couldn't be handled.
Reims comes over the top of the tip.
Wow.
She jumped out of nowhere.
Did Reims impressive.
It looked like that ball was going to land harmlessly near the front of the net.
Maybe a joust.
No.
Reims jumps out of there and puts it home.
Paris could start the countdown.
They're five points away from taking the opening set.
Maya.
She tries to go crosscourt.
They're to say that one caught the line.
So a big swing there from the right side, boy, you're not.
You're not kidding.
I that was a missile from Myers goes power rally swing for the lefty Myers now going to go on the serve line down seven.
Need a big run here for the Mustangs.
Parrish digs it out.
The block there for the Eagles.
Now they just push it across and get back in system.
They try to tip Parrish defense right there.
Kwikset again defense showing up just like it is early on.
Big swing and then a block right in the middle.
Perfect timing perfect angle.
Rowe and Patterson another rejection.
Wow.
She is like a brick wall up there.
Tough to get that through.
Patterson again.
They got the double.
They all over that one third block of the opening set for Paris 2113.
Oh, Patterson tried to go crosscourt, but Paris snuffed it out.
That attack goes well long from Jordan Bales.
And now three point stand between Paris and the opening set.
Central Arkansas Christian going to take a timeout.
So we'll check in with them.
They've got to make a run late set number one.
Almost there for the taking for Paris.

Harris has a 2213 lead.
The offense has been effective, to say the least, for the Lady Eagles Kadence Freeman, serving three points away from taking the always important opening game.
That's a big swing again from Cassie, but Parrish defensively positioned perfectly to.
The box shows up again.
Third time for Rowan Patterson four blocks in the opening set for Paris.
Wow.
If I'm an attacker, you certainly get a little bit nervous when Patterson's close by.
Goodness gracious.
18 is own the middle of the net so far in this match.
So gassy tries to go to the outside, but again dug out and back row for Paris playing really well.
The block again.
This time it's 13 Ashley Ely set point coming up for Paris.
Wow.
Big time.
Stop here from Ely.
All over that with a tip of the hand.
I think the defense wasn't ready for the rejection.
2413 been all Paris in the last 15 points or so.
Lady Eagles have a chance to put it away here.
Block at the net though.
Paris resets that one a little too close to that.
But it works out.
Ely with the kill and Paris takes the opening set.
Wow.
They started turn something on their ground.
That 15 put the last 15 points or so.
Paris turned up a notch, and Zeller in the offense just ran away with that first set.
Paris looking for a first title since 2021.
And they're looking the part.
They take game one back set two coming up.

123 Pearl.
Is going up in this go.
Set here of the three AA State Championship.
Before we get underway in set number two, let's take a look at the Everett Buick GMC trivia question.
What's the record for most consecutive state championships and Arkansas State history?
Boy, just a number.
The number.
I'm going to go lucky number seven.
By who is the pronoun you?
Now you got me.
That's well above my pay grade.
The first question is above my pay grade, as it think about it.
Well, tweet us your answers.
He's a hashtag.
My are PBS sports, and we'll find you answer in just a moment as a serve cannot be handled.
And so set number two begins.
Like set number one ended with Paris on the board.
Wow.
Great start for Paris and a great serve from Annabel Perry.
You know coach talked about Perry how she actually is their setter but probably is one of their better hitters.
But they needed somebody that was good and high IQ.
That's exactly what Annabelle Perry is.
That attack from CAC goes long.
They're going to say there was a touch at the net.
So points for the Mustangs.
Take another look right here.
This close touch minute.
Yeah I think it was just off the hand right up there.
You can't really see it a little late on my little squiggly.
But that's where it would have been.
Freeman might have got a finger on it for Paris.
So CAC gets the call.
Evens up the set a point apiece.
That one though.
Clearly put down crosscourt Zeller again with some offense.
Whatever Paris talked about after set number one it is work.
And not that they needed much else to work but my goodness a great start here to this second set the now on the service line for the Lady Eagles.
Trying to add to this two one lead.
Casey another attack that was perfect.
Well Taylor Meyers finds an open space while Meyers was the heavy hitter for Central Arkansas Christian in that first at five kills it to 67, she ends another kill.
I think she's going to be a bright and wants to keep finding Meyers, knowing that lefty can absolutely drill it.
And that's Jansen now, serving and serving up an ace service game starting to heat up for Central Arkansas Christian boy, that's a sophomore making a big play right there.
Talk about what do you have injuries throughout the year needing to make adjustments.
Jansen has been one that they've relied on.
The youngster making big plays that serve tough time handling it for Paris, and they get it over chance to reset the offense.
For Cassie, that one might have been going long but couldn't be handled from Zeller.
And just like that, Cassie jumps out to A42 lead.
Atchison got that swing.
You're right.
A little bit heavy and high.
Zeller a little ambitious.
Makes the touch.
Gives Cassie the point in the lead.
Sometimes you just can't get out of the way of it.
It's coming right at you.
You've got to try to make a play on it.
The blocked big time stuff Maddie Phillips in the middle but big solo two anytime you're going to attack from the middle and Phillips is all alone, that's tough for the defense.
Phillips made it look also easy.
Five seven sophomore is Phillips five two Cassie make it six two.
Another ace Alyssa Jansen doing some work on that serve line.
Wow.
How about that sophomore feeding off the energy.
That big block from Phillips I think elevates things a little bit.
Cassie has got all the momentum right now six two Harris trying to answer back with the block and fix that.
Just enough.
Another big swing for Cassie and Acheson puts it down.
Seven two Central Arkansas Christian and Paris going to take a timeout.
All set.
Number one was all about Paris, but quickly set number two, going the other direction as coach Lynn Brown and the CAC teams got to work.
Boy, she said, hey, she's been around the game a long time.
But defensive specialist in her college days at Harding, defense is the ammo for her.
I think that's where things started.
Really good.
First touches on serve, receive, stayed in system and then the offense.
Boy just let them rip.
You can't forget about Jansen at her service line.
Stop there.
The sophomore two big assist to elevate her game giving up assets.
Not a big deal to the CAC squad.
They took down Mayflower and Harrisburg in the state tournament that was actually hosted at Paris earlier this week.
And four sets sometimes losing a set.
It's not the end of the world.
You got to remember so much time to see a sweep in volleyball, but the good teams know how to battle back and not let that adversity take over.
And it's tough to write your first ever trip to the state final game.
You're trying to manage emotions in a game that is really heavily influenced by emotions and momentum.
So yeah, she did a really good job responding because, hey, you fall behind two sets in to a really good Paris team.
Boy, it's tough to dig out of that hole.
So at seven two, CAC on the midst of A60 scoring run and make it seven zero and all of it's coming because of the serve back in the back of Alyssa Jansen.
Wow.
Timeouts are supposed to ice the server a little bit as well as for Coach Fulmer.
He wanted to talk about some things there but not a good touch.
Jansen serve.
She's doing great.
Three already in this sequence.
That serve handle on the back row.
And the tip finally finds him open space.
And Lauren Reams puts an end to that big spurt from the Mustangs.
Reims is playing at a really high level.
I mean, she of the first set with 500 had three kills, and she is picking up right where she left off.
Eight three CAC the lead and now Paris a chance to put together a run of their own dreams back to serve.
Big swing the block again.
Shows up in the middle for Maddie Phillips.
Couldn't get much on that.
Paris again tries to attack for it again.
The block is there.
We're starting to see this defensive front from CAC show up now.
Maybe not.
It wasn't there weren't comfortable in the opening set.
I think that's been one of the keys.
Right.
Got a battle at the block CAC doing that.
Phillips and Myers.
That was Myers.
The solo stop route.
Paris trailing nine three.
Now make it ten three is they can't handle the big swing from Acheson.
The junior stretches it out to seven boys.
Staying in system is huge bite and really good job.
Kind of setting up the offense feeding the players that are hitting well.
Acheson's had two kills already, finding the open and hot hand.
Paris.
She's not quite as effective as they were in that first set, but that attack sails well, long and breaks for Paris.
Havens.
Freeman now serving for the Lady Eagles.
Down ten four.
Lot of time left here in the second set.
A touch there couldn't be handled.
Credit the kill with Kayla Fish or Kayla myers.
Excuse me.
Took a little off there.
The block touched it just enough to alter it.
But the defense couldn't get there for that second touch.
I'm right.
I like that took off speed.
You know powering it away.
That's just getting the defense their timing off it.
They're up already.
It's going to have them to have it in the back of their mind that Myers can pull the string at any moment.
That swing can't be handled.
Paris needed that.
They get a big kill from Annabelle Perry.
Parrish runs A51 rights that means they don't got one center on the floor.
Perry's the setter, but coach former no.
Said she's got the capabilities to hit it.
Hit it?
Well, she's the one that got the kill just there.
Really good serve nationally with the ace climbing back into this Paris.
Now it's 11 six.
Healy still on the service line.
Tough time handling that for CAC.
Going to be a free ball now for Paris.
That one the blocked big time stuff Jordan Bales right there alongside Delaney Huffman I believe it was bales.
They got the hand on it.
That's right.
Huffman had a good one earlier that ended up in a point.
But bales right here gets up tall against Zeller who's a really really good swinger.
Nice job.
Patterson catches some net and gets it across.
12 six Mustangs out in front and trailed by a set though another block attempts with can't control it.
Give the kill to Harrison Healy again a good attempt by Huffman to be there.
The block was out.
You're right Privett though in the back row for Parrish.
Got that all set up.
First touch was perfect.
Kept them in system and then the offense did the rest for Paris.
Was thrown to the outside for Bailey Burnett with that one into the net.
And many run for the Lady Eagles now 12 eight pick for CAC a little bit.
You can't have these unforced errors start to pile up now to give Paris a little momentum.
That serve though goes long.
Can't can't take advantage.
Add to that run.
Sometimes it's just those errors.
We haven't seen a whole lot of them today up to this point, and sometimes the errors start to add up.
They can certainly kill for momentum.
And right there we see Paris with the service area.
You want to limit those as well.
You're down five.
Now.
You got to find a way to come back here.
Timing off there a little bit for Paris.
Last CAC to set the attack for the blocks right there Lauren Reims, return to sender.
Boy, she's a really good middle.
You're right.
Returned that right back where it came from.
Really nice job.
Reims.
Straight down.
Dropping the Elvis reference.
I like that I'm not old enough to probably drop it, but I'm trying.
13 nine is our tally.
Central Arkansas Christian trying to even this up at a set a piece.
But tough tucks there for bales.
The timing was off and gives a freebie back to Paris.
Yeah, bales wants that back.
She jumped a little early and then she swung a little early as well.
Hit off the fingertips.
Gift for Paris.
Let's see what they do with it.
Touch it then.
That gives Cassie another go at it.
The try the tip Paris defense rotates over nicely.
And the block there for Paris, but just couldn't control it.
15 Freeman was there, but her second touch goes awry, and Cassie gets the side out back to their side of that.
Try to get things going with their a superstar Addie Brighton on the line.
Boy this is a good rotation for them.
Now is a good swinger.
Got got a heavy arm and now Brighton can set her up.
A little off there for Paris and the operation follow to be off as well.
So back to back points for Cassie.
Has got a good serve that had a little bit to do with that.
Didn't end up in an ace, but perhaps a little out of system for Paris.
Got to have a good first touch here.
1510 now central Arkansas Christian with the advantage.
They're still trying to get their offense going now when deflected at the net set it near side.
And that pass was off though.
And I'm going to say that was a lift called again Cassie.
It's at 1511.
Coach Lynn Brown wants an explanation from the down official I'm not going to overturn that one.
Just want an explanation of why we came to that conclusion.
So it's 1511 now that serve from Ziegler.
Catches some net, gets a cross now Paris with the quick set right in the middle.
Nice job diving bodies there from Walker.
Paris.
Right back to Ely.
And no answer for that.
Finds an open hole on his drives at home.
Well, we saw some really good effort.
Both sides, both players on each team making making plays.
But Ely had the final say.
Big swing went around the block.
The doubles there.
Phillips and Myers.
Ely goes around it.
That's really good placement.
You got to be up and ready to be able to do that.
Ely did just that.
15 twelves are margin big swing there.
Catches just a little bit.
And Zeller couldn't get out of the way of it in time.
Big point for the Mustangs.
Well you talk about Zeller for Pierce being good.
Myers and the other side our counterpart she's looked really good.
Also very powerful swing from the lefty Alyssa Jansen was at serve when they made the big run to start this in this set.
See if they can get something going here again Cassie.
And that's going to be a good start.
Is that one from Ely right into the net.
Paris only had two attacking errors in the first set.
They've already got three.
Starting to pile up a little bit.
Central Arkansas Christian's got a 1712 lead.
So Paris takes a quick timeout and kind of try to slow that momentum.
Of course what is Paris need to do to get back into the set number two.
Well, you know, I think the biggest thing is figuring out how to slow things down and system first touch is crucial.
Any time you have that, it's got to be you got to stay in system.
And I think a little bit of that has been Cassie serving got them out of rhythm.
I think that's so they're going to try to figure out is that first touch.
Let's take a look at the Everett Buick GMC trivia question JB you had it right on the nose with the number.
What's the record for the most consecutive state championships in state history?
Valley view one seven in a row from 2015 to 2021.
Seven championships in a row.
That's the most of any sport I believe in our state.
Wow.
That's impressive.
Yeah, that is very impressive.
And I didn't know who it was going to be.
I could have guessed a few, but I would not.
Going against Valley View, although I knew they were very, very good.
They made semis this year.
They lost to Shiloh, the eventual five state champion.
So impressive for Valley.
Valley view also owns the record for the most championships in state history.
They have 16, I believe all of those are since 2000 as well.
That's some early dominance or whatever.
It's a pretty impressive run.
And Valley view the school up in Northeast Arkansas today.
It's been pretty impressive Paris and set one KC here and set two.
They've got eight points away.
So plenty of time for the Lady Eagles to get back into it next year.
Ball now for cacique.
And they take advantage of Meyer's big swing from the left hander.
Dug out nicely though on the back row.
That one though is tipped.
Defense couldn't rotate over easy kill there for Ashton healing what big time for Parrish right.
They had problems with the very first serve out a system to able to rally around.
And then Ealy gets it off the arm of Phillips to get the kill.
Nice job.
1713 but cannot take advantage.
That one catches too much of the tape and falls down little trying to do a little too much perhaps.
Hey, you like that you want to be aggressive?
Rams into the net though.
The unforced errors.
The Yankees only seven away to close out the set setter from Phillips.
Quick set right in the middle for Paris for the block.
Digs there.
Now the defense for CC.
Got to scramble a little bit and try to put Paris on the offensive.
Healy again attack though dug out.
So they see how it's tough to not be handled from the far side.
Give a kill to Acheson boy the way that she's running things.
Brighton's done a really good job setting things up.
She got Myers in at first set right, and Myers continues to roll.
But because of her offense, the defense has had to focus on Myers.
It's opened up Anderson a little bit.
She's been dynamite 1913 six point lead now for the Mustangs six points away.
Make it five points as that attack goes well long.
No they're going to say that one got touched at the net.
So a huge advantage there for Paris.
This instead of being 2013 that makes it 1914.
And a lot of times in those seniors not that Ellie was trying to do this, but if you're up too high and you realize the block is there, sometimes you try to tool the block, get it off the fingertips and just hit as hard as you can off those hands.
CAC trying to get that momentum back.
They can't.
Is that one set long.
So back to back points now for Paris was a six point lead.
Now all of a sudden that's trimmed to four.
Boy just out coach.
Myers she tries to go crosscourt there.
Sounds like she caught the line.
Coach Fulmer didn't know if he agrees with that or not.
Gives it a shrug of the shoulders.
The officials have a better angle of it there.
Pushes the lead.
2015 for CAC.
I think this point was big here for Myers.
Double block that goes around and finds it in.
I think that was a pivotal point that would have given Paris three in a row.
That's a good call.
There and certainly cut inside the line.
You see tries the quick tip.
Over the the battle of the net there one by Rowan Patterson.
She's been kind of quiet in the middle part of the second set, but she's been huge at the net for Paris getting a little joust there.
Hoffman was there also, but she was kind of coming down.
Patterson had a better angle.
She won the duel.
2016 for.
Crosscourt attack dug out by Paris.
If they set the offense.
Really not a good strike on that one.
CAC right into the net.
Paris able to respond and go over on two.
Not taking advantage of a good rally going here.
It's a big point.
Big swing for the back row there for CAC.
But Paris handles it.
The longest rally we've had here in set number two and quickly put to an end Claire Ziegler with a much needed kill for Paris.
Well, she gets up at a missile off the harm and sealer down in that right set opposite corner.
Big swing from the leader.
In scramble job by the Paris defense to get back to that.
Can't take advantage of CAC now on the attack, but the block again shows up 14 Annabelle Perry and Patterson 18.
There again four.
Exclamation mark down that line.
Big point to cut this to two.
Paris doesn't want to give anything to CAC there.
Creeping back here and set number two.
Tomorrow morning at 1130.
This is the PBS app ready for you when you want to watch full episodes of your favorites, stream anytime, anywhere with the free PBS app.
Support for Arkansas PBS sports comes from Wendy's, Wendy's.
Cinnabon Paula Barton vanilla Frosty Cream Cold Brew available today at participating U.S. Wendy's.
It's a big stretch for Paris.
They look like step two is getting away from them at three consecutive points.
Last ten points or show have really been dominated by the white and blue.
And they're within striking distance.
This 2018.
Healy will be back on the service line for Paris.
Oh some CAC can take advantage.
That one though struck two two well though that one floats just long from Acheson for a second and points now for Paris.
Closest this match has been in a while.
It's a big swing there from Atchison.
Just a little too heavy.
You're right.
Little powerful.
Now the ace all the momentum is starting to lean to our right.
And that's the parricide.
Big serve there from the Eagles Ellie.
Really nice job there at the service line that had some downward action.
Another tough serve handle for Cassie.
They try the attack that time dug out nicely by Ellie on the back row.
Parrish sends over a free ball.
CAC chance to stop this momentum.
Swing.
Not there though.
Right in the middle of the block again.
Shows up.
Cassie continuing to swing at it.
The Paris defense continue to be there and answer another block from Cassie.
Really good point going that one touched the net.
CAC got a chance to set in far side of that one right into the net.
Anderson didn't get enough on it and Paris quickly back out in front.
Boy Eagles can get rolling in a hurry.
Anderson.
That that attack was a little off angle.
Tough to get a look.
How about Huffman though to be able to get the tip to lead to that?
Paris has got the lead nine three run from Paris to get back out in front, but that was big and needed from Cassie is Jordan Bales hammers one home boy took matters into her own hands, literally enticing these up at 21 apiece.
Big swing from the lefty.
Needed that to stop the momentum.
The Paris crowd certainly getting back into it.
They were feeling pretty good about themselves.
Now, after sitting on the service line tip attempt not there for Paris, CAC chance to take the lead again.
And they do that one.
Another big swing from that left side and put away believe that was Bailey Burnett the sophomore getting up.
She does not play like a soft one.
Will tell you right now getting up big powerful down that power rally and just not enough time to react.
Block doesn't get there in time.
So CAC back in front.
The other big swing that one deflected there.
They're going to say a net violation.
Happened on Paris.
So back to back points now for CAC.
The untimely error there.
Here's a look at it.
You can start to see it.
Just brush the net.
Not allowed to touch it at all.
2321 CAC needs a pair of points.
And a chance to get it here.
And they do.
Just deflected at the net.
Took a little bit off of that Bernhardt attack and falls right in between the Paris defense.
Back to back for Burnett.
Gets this one off the block and it slows things down a little bit there off of Ron Patterson.
Privett the libero just couldn't get there.
That serve as a timber well long.
Maybe a little too amped up with set point on the line there for CAC.
Going to be a side out now.
Paris with control.
Patterson trying to in that set with one swing on the serve.
This is big for Privett.
Got to make sure you get a clean serve here in Paris.
Got to get a good job defensively on the block.
Can't handle that serve.
And a tip they're not successful from Paris bales her attack handled on the back for Paris.
They got to send it over.
Chance for CAC to put away set number two right.
Here they go to the outside.
Brunet.
But it's dug out on the back row Paris trying to respond.
Diving bodies all over the place a quick tip.
There it is.
It finds some open space Annabelle Perry her deflection falls 2423.
Those long rallies in games like this are big.
The setter Perry powers it through the double.
And now Paris is within one.
CAC is going to take a timeout with a one point lead.
So we'll take it with them below.
Next we'll talk about it even more.
Hello drama 2423.
The closest set we've seen all day long.
And this is Championship match number four, Coach Brown.
Likely this is similar to icing the kicker right.
They feel like they're on a little bit of a run.
Score two in a row.
You're hoping that you affect things even if the serve is not an error.
You're hoping that they take a little bit off, gives you an easy server, seats you can stay in system.
You might get one chance against Paris here to stay in system and get a really good attack.
Because the Eagles are so good defensively.
They got a lot of weapons.
This really is like icing the kicker or taking a timeout right before a free throw shooter goes up to the one.
Because all eyes are going to be on Privett serving for Paris.
And you're just wanting to get in their head just a little bit.
And that's all it takes one little out of that one.
Like, oh I need to take a little off, make sure I get it in and then things can go your way.
And I think it's a good time to.
Right.
Because somehow Paris comes back, scores a couple of when the set CAC is looking at the backs against the wall will have to pull a reverse sweep.
So this set, these next few points are oh so crucial.
CAC looking to even this match up and a set apiece led by as much as 19 to 12.
But Paris battled all the way back.
Took a lead.
Both teams have exhausted both timeouts here in the set.
Privett on serve for Paris.
That one goes way long.
Exactly what you talked about, Jamie.
And that gives set number two to Central Arkansas Christian 2523 plenty of drama.
We're all tied up in a set apiece.
Don't go anywhere.

Thank.
Okay.

Set three.
Coming up.
Take a look.
Bailey stopped him from Lavaca Senior center, right side.
Look at that GPA.
My goodness.
408.
I didn't know you could do that.
I don't even.
Wow.
Congratulations.
Molly Stockton, the Arkansas PBS scholar athlete of the game.
One, one look like it was all pairs, 2513, in that first set.
But CAC came back and delivered their own haymaker in set number two, 2523.
Withstood a big Paris run also to grit out that set.
We're knotted up at a set apiece.
No brooms allowed in class three today.
Hey, how about that call by Coach Brown, though, to call that timeout there with a 2423 lead to the miscue from Privett.
Addie Brighton going to start things off here in sets number three.
Now you saw was the race to three sets.
Now it's a race to two.
Myers big swing from that right side.
Parrish able to regroup that one though it was not handled in a free ball right there for Lauren Reams.
And she knows what to do with it.
Both guys got big.
And that's really tough for Reaves because sometimes you guys can get too big.
And you try to swing two more to its power into the net, things like that.
She stayed composed and got made sure she got the kill.
So Paris strikes first and they strike second here in set number three.
Well, how good is Annabel pairing?
Right center.
But could serve it so good right there.
Gives them a two nothing lead.
Perry can do it all.
She's a big player for Paris.
Six aces now for Paris on the evening.
The block in the.
Can't get there in time.
Was too much Caleb Myers as she gets the first kill in the set for CAC.
Myers has been huge for Central Arkansas.
Christian the lefty.
She can also set whatever Brighton is on the bench.
And so when you got Myers out there, there's a good chance she's touching a lot of a big, powerful swing.
Battle of the net won by Paris.
But CAC can reset.
They go back to the far side.
That's Acheson Patterson again and again.
The block there for Paris.
Try the other side.
Meyer.
She hammers it through the double block.
Says doesn't matter.
I got enough strength to force it through.
Sometimes you got players like that, right?
The blocks.
Their defense is there.
Credit Paris.
They did everything right.
They got both arms right there.
That's great.
But Myers flexing her muscle a little bit pushes it through.
Allison Jansen has been really successful on the service line, but not this time.
That one into the net gives the point right back over to Paris.
Three two in the early moments of set number three.
Patterson does what she can to just to keep that point alive.
Quick set in the middle for Paris.
When CAC snuffs it out.
Block again.
Right there.
Colliding bodies for CAC.
A little bit of discombobulation from central Arkansas.
Christian point for the Eagles.
Yeah, just kind of kept them real.
And good job by Paris to kind of keep applying the pressure.
It started with the blocks.
I mean they've been dominating there at the net from the block category.
Just made it tough for CAC.
Really good serve there from Paris and CAC.
Kind of out of system in that one.
Right into the center of the nets.
Quick five two spurt to start.
Set number three for Paris a nice job by Meyer to keep that in play.
You're right.
Just Acheson couldn't quite get that over the net.
But you got to credit Paris.
Their serving has been good.
It's limited those really good first touches.
And once again, here, the serve is certainly on point for Paris CAC struggling to handle it from Ziegler from the very first serve.
Serve receives pick and it's you know you can Harper this all day long.
It's cliche that first touch first touch.
But it really is again problematic when you're serving as good as she is.
They go out to Acheson, dug out by Ziegler on the back row, now Paris on the attack.
It was dug out nicely by CAC.
They're starting to feed Acheson on that far left side.
Let's talk about being fed, Lauren Reams says I'll take some of that.
Wow, that was impressive.
Privett an excellent dig.
Got it.
Right where she needed that up.
Was perfect for Perry to set it up to.
Reams and reams did the rest.
Sixth kill of the match for Lauren Reims.
Meyers blocks right there for Paris.
CAC going to reset and try to go to Acheson block again there and there's no response for CAC and they're going to take a timeout.
Eight two run to start.
Set number three for Paris.
We're going to step aside CAC needs to stop the momentum Paris looking good here in set number three.
I think it's important for Arkansas PBS to have sports, because it provides sports on a greater platform to the entire community, and it also gives people in various other communities an opportunity to see other schools and other athletes and to have a greater appreciation for not just their own community, but the sports that are available across the state of Arkansas.
There's so many lessons that sports provides, and it's one of the reasons why it's so important to the next generation of athletes coming up.

Paris playing pretty lofty right now.
Got an eight two lead here to start.
Set number three.
Myers right into the net.
This is out of sorts as this CAC offense I think the block for Paris to creep into the mind a little bit.
Yeah I think the alter things and Sam Myers there into the net.
She's trying to go around that block.
Sometimes you over adjust on things.
And that one just landing into the net nine two largest lead for Paris.
Right.
We're gonna say a net violation now on CAC pushes that lead to ten.
By far the largest margin since the close of that first set.
It's amazing how different CAC looks from set two to set three.
And obviously the emotions and the momentum have a lot to do with that.
Block there again.
Big swing there.
Going to say that did not catch the line.
Another point for Paris nine consecutive points.
This set was tied at two.
Then the big run point.
Unforced errors there.
Nice job.
The block was late.
I think Myers had time.
He just couldn't keep it in.
Tough job handling the serve.
Three ball sent over but cannot be controlled.
And that one goes out and CAC going to take another look.
What I have a substitution.
Excuse me I thought they're going to have a timeout.
Try to stop this bleeding any way you can.
If your coach Lynne Brown and company for CAC, the two assistants Kelly Curtis, Hannah Owens marking out assignments on from the sideline as well, you don't see double digit runs very often but make it 11 as that serve can't be handled.
Boy bales was subbed in came in to sub for Acheson.
Tough handle there the senior.
And that just kind of goes to show you how good Zeller is on the service line.
That they're struggling to get that good first touch.
And Ziegler still on that serve CAC still looking for an answer.
Trailing 13 to 2.
Scrambling now for Paris to do whatever they can just to keep the point alive.
Bales here.
Tip doesn't work.
Pace does a nice job.
Rotating over off the block.
Shows up big for Cassie.
Sometimes you need your defense to step up to the occasion and take over.
Myers with the big block.
But Paris has been getting blocks left and right.
But you're right.
Finally, CAC gets a stop to the bleeding at Phillips and Myers closed down quickly with the double.
Really good placement of that serve.
Going to give Cassie's offense a chance.
We're coming right back here to Myers Perry right there to dig it out.
But that pass is tough Healy.
Everything she could do just keep the pawn alive.
Talk about killing things in a hurry.
Bales does it again.
Wow.
A hammer from bales.
She handled the first touch.
Got it straight to Brighton for an easy set.
Gave it right back to bales and lay down the law.
Big points there for CAC 14.
Excuse me, 13 to 4.
Attacking the middle.
CAC going to keep it alive.
It's took her eye off the ball a little miscommunication there.
You saw Maddie Phillips kind of look up to make sure a teammate wasn't there.
By the time she tried to relocate the volleyball, she couldn't do it.
And all goes back to that big, powerful swing from the middle left things and a system for CAC just never could recover.
That serve way too much on it for Lauren Reims side out back to CAC.
See if the Mustangs have a big run in them.
Paris reeled off 11 consecutive points.
In the block.
Shows up for Paris.
Now the Lady Eagles chance to set the offense.
Back row attack has way too much on that one to CAC.
Going to start to climb back into it.
I don't know if Mustangs can climb, but we're going to see her detrimental to climbing out here.
Yeah that's true.
That's hooves on a coat.
Maybe after that it's a serve that serve way out.
Animal.
Our Bobby and JB coming up after the broadcast.
Right.
15 six Paris with the lead, 15 cadence, three minutes.
Serve now for the Lady Eagles.
Tack right into the net.
Did not get across 16 to 6.
I think that's again.
That's where the block comes into play.
Trying to find two.
Perfect.
And that time you just buried into the netting.
Really nice job by Ellie Patterson.
Kind of closing out making it difficult.
On the attack.
That swing well trying to be a little too aggressive was Kendall Walker the sophomore starting to slip away from CAC here in set number three.
One.
Try to get bales going.
Little timing off.
Paris sends a free ball over.
Going back to bales on the far side.
Her tip attempt.
Not good.
Ely dug out nicely by Walker.
Do everything they can to keep the point alive.
Is CAC quick set right in the middle and no answer there.
Rohan Patterson has been so effective on the block, this time with the kill.
Well she's good I mean Patterson really elevating her game defensively leads the offense this time.
Quick set middle.
What do you do wrong?
Patterson junior puts it down.
Parish marching towards set number three.
It's 18 six.
We step aside.
That adds up to a little bit of money.
Wow.

A lot to be settled here in this 48 championship match.
We're tied at the set apiece.
Paris closing in as they lead it by 18 six.
Another quick set that time didn't work for the Lady Eagles.
Back outside to Bale.
That one though.
Too much.
He's couldn't get on top of that and inching ever closer to the Lady Eagle six points away.
She's a tacking.
Errors have started piling up.
They've had a ton here in this set, more than they've had in the other two combined, and unforced errors are catching up to them.
Doesn't work for Casey now.
Parrish back on the offensive.
Wing back to bales.
Not there.
Ellie.
Her attack snuffed out in the middle.
Bales the third time.
This time it works.
One.
No, not so much.
Two.
Didn't work.
Three.
Third time's the charm for bales.
Finally gets it through the block on the double.
If you're Casey right here, you know, the set slipping away.
I think there's two schools of thought.
One, you want to find a way to creep back in.
It got to go in big runs.
But if you're not able to win the set, you've got to build up some momentum for set four because your season is on the line.
You got to figure out something.
They're reading the lips as bales as she walked off the court.
She's just saying I was so off.
I'm so off.
They understand what's going on, but plenty of time left in this match.
Tip of tip there from Brighton.
Paris keeps it alive.
Free ball over Casey now.
Chance to get in.
System going outside.
That's Barnett, but the block again there defensively Paris putting on a show.
Well it's a block party for ruling Patterson in company.
Mike goodness the Eagles showing up big.
They're close to the net.
Really good defensive effort.
Oh you've got fingers of five of them.
That's what Paris needs to wrap up the set that serve into the net.
Maddie Phillips back on rotation.
The liberal Walker will be on serve up.
Up.
Big swing there from Zeller.
Can't be handled by the Cassie defense.
Boy a laser knocked the arm there of Zeller.
That's tough to stop defensively she's been kind of a menace and they've done a decent job here.
The last bit of kind of slowing her down.
But boy she gets going.
The offense starts rolling again.
That was ten kills for Zeller.
And that serve can't be handled.
Paris now three points away from taking A21 set lead.
Eagles look good.
They feel like they were a little frustrated after that.
Set two.
And they said that's not we're not playing our style.
Get back in rhythm now.
Certainly turned it on in this third set.
Zeller again going for that back line.
And again she gets the job done.
Claire Zeller putting on an offensive clinic.
Kill number 11.
Well you want to go somewhere to get the job done off the hand.
It wasn't a matter who's going to land in anyway Anderson just tried to dive and save.
And serve catches the line.
Oh what perfect placement by Privett.
Wow one point away now.
Excellent job by Privett.
On the serve.
You know she ended the last set on the serve out of play.
He gets a big one there.
Set point for Paris.
Plenty of room to play with but we'll need at least one more.
Is Privett.
Couldn't keep that one alive.
So 24 nines are margin.
Addie Brighton and try to keep this set going.
Set out for Burnett.
Her touch goes wide.
And that's how set number three comes to a close.
All Paris in that game.
25 nine.
That is a big momentum shift.
Paris now one set away from their first title in four years.
We'll see if they can get it done.

Parrish.
Dominate.
Set number three.
They take it 25 nine, and they've got A21 set advantage over central Arkansas Christian.
Welcome back inside Bangkok K arena.
He's JB Brazil I'm Bobby Swofford.
Thanks for spending your Saturday evening with us watching some of the best volleyball at Arkansas basketball.
Paris has not lost two sets in postseason play all year long.
They lost one Elkins in the regional that, Harding Academy in the state tournament.
So they're a team that knows how to flex their muscles.
CAC she's going to have to work from behind.
First time that CAC has been down and pushed this far and lost a set to both Mayflower and Harrisburg in the state tournaments.
But they're down two sets here, 2 to 1.
Excuse me.
She's looking at the offense going Brunet.
That's a good start.
And a big swing from the sophomore on that left side.
Boy it was big.
It almost didn't make it over.
But Burnett nice job to get it.
Squeeze it in between the blocker and the net gets the point.
Nice job for Burnett.
Addie Brighton serving for CAC.
Set for Zeller and sees defense there now to Myers.
Was trying to find a hole in the middle.
And good enough Back-To-Back points to start things for Cassie a significantly better start in set number two.
Burnett gets things going in the roll shot from Meyer.
Good job to take a little bit off.
Placement key right there for Myers.
Boy she plays like a veteran.
She's a junior.
She's really really good.
A big swing there for range.
Dug out nicely by CAC on the back line.
All right quick set.
Reams right in the middle.
There's no answer for that.
Not enough time to react.
Paris on the board.
Boy, that was really nice set up.
You see Privett there.
That three ball.
They took advantage.
That's peak offense right there.
You get a free play.
Look at this low line drive.
Set up Privett get it.
Nice pass to the center Perry.
And she sets up Reims who laid down that one.
Wow.
Really good serve there.
Call it an ace.
CAC couldn't rotate over enough.
So Mustangs open with a pair Paris answers right back on the deuce of their own.
That's how big it is when you get a big, powerful swing from Raines, an energy play that Reims provides.
It leads the offense service line.
Zeller she's good.
Gets an ace and things start to build.
You see a bit out of sorts but a really good swing there for Myers to put Paris on their heels.
Myers now from this side that's tipped the net kept alive now by the Eagles.
Blocked again shows up Remer with the rejection.
Oh man.
Nice job rims.
Freeman was there.
Two bears has been so good at the block.
I mean, if there's something that you could say in terms of difference to these teams, Paris has dominated the block.
You go here, you.
Set to the outside for Myers.
It's blocks now Paris with a chance to take advantage.
But the block now on this side believe that was Myers coming all the way back across to make the play boy roof right there.
Myers be talking today.
Paris can block watch this and absolutely stuffs it up.
And in what about that rotation.
She's swinging from that far side and comes all the way back to the near side to makes the play.
Olson.
Jansen with another good serve.
She's been really effective on that back line.
And central Arkansas Christian back in front of that and finds the net.
He's this is what happens when you get your offense.
Want to get some energy play some blocks defensively you see your opponent start forcing some unforced errors.
Up the block again there for CAC defense.
Impressive fires throwing a little party a little block party right there at the net.
Nice job Myers.
Back to back times.
Now she's got a big stop there at the net five three CAC out in front.
Quick set in the middle.
Quickly rejected Maddie Phillips among others.
Right there in the middle.
What Phillips is a bit big earlier in this game.
She's had a couple of blocks.
That one there again they attack.
They read it perfectly.
They went middle to rims.
And Phillips does the job already.
A lot more life being shown in this set.
And we saw on set number three from CAC.
For the set Myers.
Oh the cow Kayla myers hammers one home.
Wow.
There's a dent in the floor from Myers showing.
My goodness that was a perfectly set ball from Brighton.
And Meyer backs beats the block and powers it.
Body home there for Paris.
This is exactly what CAC needed to start to set to that one.
Look out wall over that's where.
And they call those facials right?
You hit up that line.
Drive like that.
Brighton had no chance to return that because it came so quick.
She had a really good angle.
Did Brighton but reigns with a powerful swing.
Seven for CAC has the lead but Reims and Paris to get back into it and lead it two sets to one big swing on the far side from Acheson.
Give her a kill, boy.
This CAC offense is firing on all cylinders.
How about the set up from Brighton to get that over the outside to Acheson?
I think when Acheson drawing.
That's good too.
She had a couple of things earlier in the sets that she felt like she could clean up.
Boy, that look really good.
Lee Phillips serving for CAC, a four point lead.
That's a big swing on the far side.
That right side hitter for Paris.
No answer for the swing from Kadence Freeman.
Framing a good job to get set up there on that opposite right side.
They call it good.
Swing through the block.
Myers tries to go cross court Paris defense.
There.
CAC now quickly back on the attack.
Back to Myers and reset.
Do it again.
Myers one more time on the block again.
And who else would it be?
Rowe and Patterson.
Boy, if you're saying block, it's likely going to be Patterson.
If it's Paris Myers and had a couple on her side for CAC.
But Patterson is playing out of her mind right now.
Just 24 blocks on the season coming in today for Patterson.
And today she's got five.
Oh no.
Put down for CAC.
It's nine six Mustangs.
Well how about Addie Bright.
She's one tough cookie.
Took that hard hit to the face earlier.
She's setting perfectly.
That's a great set Brighton is so good I think that goes undervalued a lot of times she doesn't get the big highlight play, but she's the one setting up for the offense.
Harris tries the tip.
Nothing working there.
Back out to Acheson I get a tip.
Did not catch the line.
So that one's going to be long points for Paris for this one's nip and tuck here in this fourth set.
This feels the energy feels like it's deficit doesn't it was I think they gave Paris a point.
Too many on that double check to score.
They get it correct.
Corrected is nine seven is the end scoreboard arena I should say not on screen.
Of course it's on correct on the screen now.
And nine eight after that point.
Yeah.
Kind of a moot point.
You're just ahead of the game worrying about scores.
And this is going to fix itself.
Right on the other Patterson on the near side, her attack unsuccessful a big swing in the middle again Rowan Patterson we keep calling the name of number 18 and white impressive.
She's had a great defensive game but she can get in on the offensive action as well.
Pounds that one through the block 3 or 4.
Make it 4 or 5.
Going the way of Paris as they take the lead.
Ten nine.
Great serve from Ashton Neely.
He's really, really good there in the back.
She's had some good attacks as well.
Serve handle.
Really nice touch there.
Kayla myers caught the Paris defense napping at some great IQ.
Right.
She comes into center when Brennan comes off.
Myers is the setter that's going to offense they have.
That was a great pass from Johnson to get it to Myers.
And then she reads.
The defense finds no one home.
Patterson serving now in a 1010 match up.
High set there for Paris.
And CAC can't handle the attack from Claire Zeller.
Zeller's just been too much, right?
Even when you get the blocks there, she's able to get that one altered and threw.
Goes over the top right here off the tip.
And Anderson just couldn't dive and save Zeller now with 13 kills.
That leads the way for Paris.
Burnett swing deflected at the net right.
Now bales with the tip Paris rotates over.
They got a chance to attack.
That one does not catch the line too much from Ellie.
Point back to Cassie.
We're tied at 11.
What may have been an unforced error, but how about Delaney Huffman?
Big job on that block there from that attack.
Slowed things down, gave CAC an opportunity to stay in system and force an attack.
Walker with the ace Kendall Walker puts that one out perfectly for energy building for Cassie.
I think that's going to be big for them against a very potent and powerful Paris offense.
1211 CAC back in front.
But that one right into the net and we'll tie it up at 12.
Well high risk high reward serve for Walker.
She played the boom on that serve.
Just couldn't quite get it over the tape.
Seventh service error for CAC in the match.
Try a quick set in the middle there for Paris.
Tip almost works.
No.
And that again for Cassie trying for that back line dive and bodies.
CAC is going to have to do some work to get it over and they do outstanding hustle play for the Mustangs.
Come to bales.
Well the block there but it's out.
There's not.
Catch the line.
That's a big momentum swing as bales gets the kill.
Goodness look at Acheson on throughout.
Bales gets that the block out of play.
But they will Acheson a steak dinner for her on a couple of those.
My goodness that play doesn't even get to that point.
If Patterson doesn't lay out for a couple of plays.
Brighton back on serve now.
Rotation back to square one 1312 contest.
Let's dig from Anderson on the back row.
Zeller she's attacks the back.
Can't be handled well.
Too much velocity on it.
And Zeller with another kill that's off in the back of two of Walker.
Walker's good there on that back row.
But Zeller when she zings it across like that.
It's oh so tough to dig and played 26 points.
Were that where we started.
We're all square.
For cover Burnett big swing from the line that's handled by Perez.
But that one into the net.
They're going to say that was a touch by Cassie.
Coaching staff doesn't agree with it.
Swing that one goal as well.
Wide from Kayla myers and coach Lynn Brown.
Still not happy with that call from a touch at the net.
Yeah she thought that ball didn't go over the net with Phillips.
Kind of kind of pushed it back.
I think the ref saw that she did.
So circle that one in your play by play at home.
That's 1413 Paris.
Now a net violation against CAC.
They're going to say Myers was in the net.
So it's a big two point swing right there a 5050 call.
And now a net violation.
That's Paris up 1513 right.
Burnett tries the tip.
Nothing working there as Lauren Reams returns to center.
Well done defensively closing out the double was there.
Take a look here at the top.
That ball's coming over.
Wow.
Well step aside Paris got some momentum going here in set number four.
They're trying to claim a state championship.
She then get it done.
Coming up.

Four consecutive points for Parris as the Lady Eagles up 1613.
Here in set number four.
They already lead at two one.
They're inching towards a three AA state championship.
That ball attempt though can't be made some credit to kill to Bailey Burnett.
And that's a big point coming out of the timeout.
Yeah it's something I want to mention for Coach Fulmer.
He brought up his assistant Sierra Boswell.
She was a graduate of the 20 2020, but she was a part of that 2017 title team.
He said she's been huge.
She's been there before.
He he said the reason they're here is due in large part to her and the way that she's been able to walk her girls through this process.
Myers with the cross court attempt and it finds some open orange back to back points for CAC.
Huge out of that timeout one point game boy needed that Myers big swing.
I'm telling you that's the one you're going to go to when Casey needs points.
Myers is the one they call upon.
Quick set in the middle for Reims a block there for CAC.
They keep it alive.
Dug out by Parrish.
They're going to try to get it over CAC.
Chance to tie.
They're going outside to Acheson and she gets it done.
That one off a pair of deflecting arms.
But the kill for Kelly Acheson.
Boy, how about Anderson getting the job done?
Nice job by Brighton to set that up.
Had Myers behind her if she wanted to.
Instead goes right off the arm, gets the kill.
Splits the two defenders to tie things up that serve not handled CAC for consecutive points.
They're back in front boy sophomore Jansen.
She's great on that service line isn't she?
Goodness gracious Jansen.
She's she's been at the helm of two huge runs in this contest.
But that one serves long.
She did her job four out of five points there for Central Arkansas Christian Paris.
Maybe get the side out.
17 all.
Serve handled in the back for CAC.
And that catches a line.
What a stroke from Acheson.
Boy, she is really stepping up her game.
Two big kills for Anderson late in the game.
When you need a play, Anderson delivers Maddie Phillips trying to keep the momentum going for CAC 1817.
The drama certainly high here in Baker's UK arena.
That attack goes long.
CAC trying to keep their season alive.
Paris trying to close out their season with a championship.
That serve way long can to maybe and it's things were starting to get amped up a little bit.
The adrenaline pumping their let the juice on that one.
Alice.
She hit it hard.
I mean this long 1918 CAC with the lead Paris serving.
Lady Eagles now a chance to set the offense.
They come over here to Ely.
Her big swing can't be blocked at the net.
Credit Ashton Healey with another kill.
Great job by Ely.
Going up.
Gets the double.
To get that off the tip.
You got to hit it hard enough to get it through the block sometimes.
And Ely did that.
Good placement also at the top.
She her game might be a little off today.
Her seventh kill is an eight errors as well.
Patterson now for CAC tries to tip defenses there right back to Ely.
Right back to the kill column.
Back to back kills for Ashton Ely Ely may be an undersized outside hitter, much like Joe Gillen there at Arkansas and her playing days, but boy, she can get up.
Lays down the hammer from Ely 2019 is the score Myers she tries to go crosscourt.
Nobody home right in the middle.
Another big swing from number 11 Kayla myers.
Boy Myers has been huge.
Put the team on her shoulders a little bit.
She's gotten some help with Anderson.
A couple other attackers as well, but this one's all coming down to the wire.
Myers needed it first of five points.
Now that one catches just some of the tape.
And right back over to CAC.
That tipped Parrish right place now to Ely a job on the back row by Jansen Bales.
Yeah I hit the pin.
Officials did not see it.
CAC does what they can to keep the point alive.
Now Paris does the same scramble job on both sides.
Patterson.
Her attack off the arm is Ziegler a huge point for CAC.
Wow.
Acheson's playing out of her mind.
Great job again there.
That's a tough one to attack to.
A little bit out of system a little bit.
Nice job by Myers to set it over there.
But Anderson a very tough angle.
Terminates Kayla myers.
Now back to serve for CAC as a point lead tip over CAC tries to set.
It fails the big swing with the block even bigger.
Who else Ashton Lee boy she can get up big time stuff there against bales.
And boy this was a nail biter right into the block.
Great job by the Paris defense.
Perfectly positioned for that serve.
Goes long.
Really can't get it in 2221.
CAC now needs three points to take the set four and force a fifth and decisive one from.
Zeller that's dug out on the back row by Walker.
But control that dig.
Now back over to CAC.
They're going to set Burnett on that side with that one right into the net.
And that's going to tie things up at 22 CAC in Paris now tied 22.
All.
Hearts be pumped a little bit more.
No kidding I'm over here sweat.
We haven't had a set come down to the wire like this.
Three A state championship on the line could not handle the serve.
Big swing there for Paris and Central Arkansas.
Christian going to take the time out.
We'll keep it here for what is the ebbs and flows of this four set.
Set number one.
Set number three dominated by Paris CAC for the most part controlled set number two.
But this one there really has been no distinction between the Mustangs and Eagles.
No kidding I mean it's been who's making big play after big play.
Both teams know that they've got to step up their game each and every swing and every rally.
And they've been doing that right.
There's not been really either side that's kind of jumped in front with more dominant play.
CAC knows their season is on the line.
They don't want it to end in a loss at Paris and under first head coach Jerry Fulmer, he's walking through his team.
They're two points away from his first ever state title, but Paris has seen plenty of them in their time.
These two teams really just duking it out.
And you can tell the emotion they're leaving everything out there, no stone unturned, if you will.
Paris though.
2322.
What are you telling your team?
Your coach former in this timeout?
No unforced errors.
You can't force anything.
Hey play within yourself.
Get a good first touch, but don't try to do too much.
You can't have mistakes.
Those compound play within yourself.
Stay loose.
Sandy Privett going to be back to serve for Paris.
That one handled on the back row.
CAC going to have to send a free ball over Paris.
Chance to get in the offense.
Quick set to Reims and put down Lauren Reims with the kill right in the middle and nobody home for CAC.
Wow.
The energy that shifted on that boom from Reims, that was huge sets and championship point now for Paris serves handled by CAC Banettes.
Her attack took out on the back row.
Paris a chance to put it away to Reims.
But the blocks there for CAC Paris finds a way to keep it alive.
Reset for Burnett.
Got to get it over.
A tip for Paris diving bodies for CAC.
Bernet again attack lady Eagles.
They go to Ziegler, she puts it down and Paris is back on top.
3 or 3.
A state champs.
Wow, what a final point.
Both sides scrambling.
And Paris just made the play in the end.
How fitting for it to end with Ziegler wasn't anything over powerful.
Talk about staying within yourself.
Zero of that kill there.
Didn't try to do too much.
Placed it perfectly.
Well deserved win for Paris and their three state champs.
Paris scores the final four points of the match and that's how they claim it.
Three one.
We're going to step away.
Trophy presentation coming up.

Meyers played great.
Acheson for sure.
You look, though, for Paris.
Ziegler set the tone, her attacking ability to be able to split the block even through a double.
She was doing a really good job and led for more offense for Ellie.
Reims was big as well.
For Paris, it was a domination early for Paris started going back a little bit to CAC.
They started thinking a lot more closer.
