I'm your host, Mrs. House, and today I have three lovely contestants with me who are ready to play a game.

First up, I have Lottie who is seven and going into second grade.

Next is Zoe and she's going into the first grade.

And then I have Octayvon, who's also going into the first grade.

Here's how this works.

I'm going to play a bit of music and you're going to hold up the sign that you think matches that kind of music that's playing.

Now let's remember contestants, this is just for fun.

Jazz music is very rhythmic and often has instruments such as trumpets, saxophones, pianos, bass and drums.

One unique part of jazz music is it often has a bit of improvization.

That means that one person will start to play and the others join in and just make it up as they go along.

Jazz music makes you want to march and swing dance along to it.

Some famous jazz musicians include Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker and Louis Armstrong.

It's hip hop.

Hip hop is a style of music that is often full of rhythm and rhymes.

Often times, hip hop will also include rapping, which is kind of like a mixture of singing and talking.

The lyrics in hip hop often tell a story and match those heavy beats that you hear.

Often those beats make you want to move your body.

And many styles of dances have been created because of the influence of hip hop.

Some famous hip hop musicians are Jay-Z, Dr. Dre and Missy Elliott.

It's country music.

Country music is a style of music that includes instruments such as the fiddle, guitars, banjos and bass guitars.

It often tells a story and gets its roots in folk music.

Line dancing and two steppin' are two kinds of dances that go along with country music.

Some famous country musicians include Johnny Cash, Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton.
