- I'm Robbie Rocket.
I like your pretty rings.
- Thanks Robbie, I'm Saturn.
I've been collecting these rings for millions of years.
I love them.
- How do you keep your rings from floating away into space?
- An invisible force called gravity!
- Gravity?
- Every body of matter has a natural force that pulls objects towards it.
That's gravity.
The more mass a body has, the more gravity it generates.
I have 100 times the mass of Earth, so I generate lots of gravity.
- So could I call Saturn home?
- Oh, I don't think so.
I'm way out here, 886 million miles from the Sun's warmth.
My average temperature is negative 285 degrees.
Too cold to call home.
- Wow, that is cold.
Well, I have to find a place to land.
Good luck with your ring collection Saturn!
- Good luck Robbie!
