- Hello, Robbie Rocket.
- You know my name?
Who are you?
- I'm the sun, the center of our solar system.
I see everything from the eight planets around me.
- What kind of a planet are you?
- I'm a star, made of gases like hydrogen and helium.
- Just like Jupiter.
- Yes, only my gasses are on fire and have been for billions of years.
The earth is tilted as it orbits around me, so different regions of the earth grow warmer and cooler throughout the year.
It's this changing relationship which makes seasons like fall, winter, spring and summer possible.
- So I can't stay with you?
- No.
My fiery warmth is much too hot.
Go back, Earth is the perfect place for you.
- Thanks for the warm advice, sun.
