I'm Wendy.
And away we go.
(gulls cawing) (breeze blowing) (majestic music) Who are you?
- I'm a cloud.
(chimes ring) I'm made of water.
- Water?
But water comes from rivers and streams.
- Sure.
When it's a liquid.
But sometimes the heat from warm fronts causes the water to evaporate, or turn into a gas and float into the air.
When that vapor collides with a cold front, it quickly condenses, or turns back into a liquid.
That's all clouds like me are.
Big jumbles of little water droplets floating in the air.
- Does the water return to earth?
- That's called precipitation.
(thunder cracks) Oh no!
This cold front was bigger than I thought.
Take cover, Wendy!
- Oh, no!
